Scientific Indexing Services ID: 5166, Web of Science

Journal of Aquaculture & Fisheries is an interdisciplinary journal which seeks to draw research from aquafarming and fisheries harvesting to provide knowledge on farming of aquatic organisms and also on cultivation, harvesting and rearing of fishes for commercial usage. This is an international online peer reviewed journal with the ISSN: 2576-5523, that publishes articles with good standards in scientific and technical aspects under open access model.

Farming, cultivation, and preservation of aquatic fauna, is one of the prime factors to balance essential needs with increasing day-to-day population. Educating and researching these factors helps manage and conserve aquatic resources. Industry-driven applied research aids in understanding the fundamentals of aquaculture and fisheries to advance the boundaries of aquatic sciences. Researchers, zoologists and scientists are striving hard in discovering new techniques for more production rate with less cost. This Journal will be at forefront to emphasize this research.

Journal of Aquaculture and Fisheries publish the latest and up-to-date information on farming of fish, crustaceans, molluscs, aquatic plants, algae, and other aquatic organisms. The articles published in this journal are freely available for the readers. For the dissemination of this research work, the journal is indexed in Google scholar, Scientific Indexing Services (SIS), J-Gate, and also a member of Crossref, ORCID and Publons. Researchers, zoologists, scientists and readers advance their work, by accessing these articles. Accessing and downloading the articles will increase the journal impact factor which is the calculating factor of the journal quality.

Impact Factor for Journal: 1.89*

*2023 Journal Impact Factor was established by dividing the number of articles published in 2022 and 2021 with the number of times they are cited in 2022 and 2021 based on Google Scholar Citation Index database. If 'X' is the total number of articles published in 2022 and 2021, and 'Y' is the number of times these articles were cited in indexed journals during 2022 and 2021 then, journal impact factor = Y/X
