Prosthodontics

Prosthodontics is the specialty concerned with the design, manufacture, and fitting of artificial dental and maxillofacial prostheses. It addresses both functional rehabilitation and aesthetic enhancement for patients who have lost teeth or suffered oral and facial defects due to disease, trauma, or congenital conditions. The use of crowns, bridges, dentures, and dental implants in prosthodontics not only restores chewing ability but also greatly impacts speech, self-image, and overall quality of life.

We invite scholarly works that advance prosthodontic care through novel implant designs, digital workflow optimizations, and the application of bioengineering principles. It particularly welcomes studies examining the biomechanics of prosthetic devices, patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), and innovations in materials science such as zirconia and hybrid ceramics. Research that offers long-term data on prosthetic success and patient satisfaction will significantly enrich our highlights.
